Yesterday we talked about how the TV was a way to wind down. There are other things you can do to help you wind down and to sleep better.
We all deal with stress on a daily basis. We have endless meetings, a schedule that has a longer to do list than time, and we must balance that with taking care of the house, the kids and then when all is done, we finally may have some ME TIME.

I always encourage the making of a small change. One that you can be successful doing and then celebrate that accomplishment, so you want to continue. What if you tried one of these before you turned on the television?

ยท Do some box breathing to help reduce your stress
ยท Neck and Shoulder stretch to release that pent up stress
ยท Five minutes of meditation
ยท Turn on the music and dance

These suggestions are only a beginning. There are nights when I am really stressed, I might even add a little yoga or a guided meditation.

Let me know what you choose to do so we can celebrate your accomplishment.
