Starting your day off with a positive and productive mindset can set the tone for the rest of your day. One way to do this is by creating a morning routine that includes sunlight and visualization.

Exposing yourself to sunlight in the morning can help regulate your body’s natural sleep-wake cycle, also known as your circadian rhythm. This can lead to an improved mood, energy, and productivity throughout the day. Additionally, taking a few moments to visualize how you want your day to go can help you stay focused and motivated to achieve your goals. This simple practice can help you stay on track and feel more in control of your day, leading to a more positive and productive mindset.
It is recommended that you get 30 minutes of sunlight in the morning to help set your circadian rhythm. This does not have to be in association with exercise. You can combine your time to focus on the day with the sunlight. You can sit outside, meditate, read the bible, or just relax and enjoy the beauty around you.

You can also use it to add some movement to your morning. We see exercise as something that should be big and daunting. What if you instead thought about taking 10-15 minutes for a walk and then checking in with yourself to see if you want to do more. You might want to consider doing some stretching in the morning or simple yoga stretches. When we do them outside, we are also connected with nature, which has been proven to help us feel better.
